Describe the talent?
Before taking this class, I’ve never really thought about connecting my talents with the world of work. I was under the impression that work was just something you do, and because of that you don’t need to have a specific talent to do a certain job; getting good at your job was merely a matter of practice. After considerable thought, I realize that my talents already exist in my day to day life, and I can now see how they can be rendered well into the workplace. Hence, my three talents are: Sensitivity, Creativity and Being Organized. In doing the task that was assigned in the class, I have come to realize that I’ve always been a Sensitive person. In my group of friends, I was always the one who is the most emotionally aware.
I’m someone who cannot effectively work in a messy environment. If I don’t organize my tasks or assignments, I feel like my mind tends to wander, and I cannot be focused. I believe that if I can easily find what I’m looking for, I can work more efficiently.
