READING ACTIVITY
Objectives:

1. 
   To help students improve their reading skills
   
2. 
   Learn how to deal with reading questions
   
3. 
   To help participants differentiate correct answers from distracters
   

Lead in :
Materials : hand out one , pen or pencil.
Time :25 minutes
Procedure :
Pre- reading

1. 
   (2 minute) say that this activity is devoted to improve their reading skills and with the help of this activity they can learn how to work with skimming ,true/false questions ,finding synonyms and also say that this activity consists of six exercises.These exercises consist of twent questions and for each correct answer they can get half mark.
   

2. 
   ( 5 minutes)say that they should work with their pairs then hand out students the paper on which questions are written down .
   

3. 
   say that they should analyze the questions together and predict the right answer beforehand and also say them to underline the key words of the questions.

Working from home



While -reading

4. 
   (15 minute) After finishing analyzing ,students should find answers using key words and then they circle the correct answer.
   

Post- reading

5. 
   (3 minutes) check their answers and ask them how they found the right answers, which words helped them find right answers. If they make mistake , show them where the right answer actually is then give them a constructive feedback.
