The lift in the hotel does not work. So the group “has to go upstairs” or “downstairs” counting the stairs (or the floors). It is advisable to count using the ordinal numerals starting with THE FIRST or THE ELEVENTH.

The teacher should ask the learners to raise their knees as high as possible miming the movement upstairs or downstairs.
