Geographical position of Turkey
 The Republic of Turkey is a state advantageously located on
the expanses of two continents, most of it occupies the territory
of southwestern Asia, mainly the Anatolian Peninsula and a
small part (3%) of the country is located in southern Europe,
occupying part of the Balkan Peninsula between the
Mediterranean and Black Seas. Turkey's neighbors on the east
side are: Armenia, Azerbaijan, Georgia, Iran, on the south side:
Syria and Iraq, and on the western border: Bulgaria and
