Today, polar bears are in danger because of climate change. Their disappearance 

might have several consequences for humanity. Although polar bears live in the 

toughest environment in the world, they can adapt to this severe condition. Polar 

bears have 11 centimeters of body fat under their skin, which might be dangerous 

for humans. 

The genetic structure of polar bears was compared to that of brown bears by 

several scientists. They discovered the genes that allowed polar bears to survive 

in severe weather. Thus, polar bears might be a crucial breakthrough in 

understanding heart disease in humans. 

It is learnt that the bones of polar bears are being remodelled constantly. Polar 

bears can keep themselves alive by depleting their own calcium and calorie 

reserves within six months. 

If we understood the mechanism of bones in polar bears, it might be useful for
