To qualify as an advocate for every child you will have…
Education:

• 
  Enrolled in an undergraduate, graduate or Ph.D. degree programme or have graduated within the past two years in business, economics, development and/or environmental sciences and related fields.
  
• 
  Have excellent academic performance as demonstrated by recent university or institution records. 
  

Skills:

• 
  Strong communication skills, written English skills, and ability to write clearly, succinctly and for a variety of audiences.
  
• 
  Knowledge of standard Microsoft Office applications (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and computer skills such as SharePoint.
  
• 
  Knowledge of and interest in South Asia news is an asset.
  
• 
  Strong research and analytical skills, including the ability to distil lengthy and often complex content into brief summaries
  
• 
  Prior experience with climate, energy, environment, and disaster risk reduction in developing country contexts would be a considerable asset.
  
• 
  Have no immediate relatives (e.g., father, mother, brother, or sister) working in any UNICEF office; and  Have no other relatives in the line of authority which the intern will report to.
  
• 
  Fluency in English is required. Knowledge of another official UN language (Arabic, Chinese, French, Russian or Spanish) or a local language is an asset.
