Unfullfilled dream
The clouds were ringing in the autumn sky. In the evening, a gentle
rain began to fall. On a quiet night in the darkness, the rain rumbled and
the leaves rustled.
-Alla bolam alla-yo ...
Nilufar woke up frightened by her own voice. For a while, the
understanding of what it stood, suddenly burst into tears. He had another
dream. A child in the cradle, and lullaby helped him. Heartbroken
stirred up. He looked at the empty seat next to. Anwar recalled the case
of her husband, and pulmonary edema. Across the wardrobe toys on the
eyes. But ... it plays in elegant night! Shortly anguish clung to them. All
threw each side of the room. He sat leaning against the wall varies. After
a long time in the darkened room the morning and hit them first. Heard
the crowing of a rooster out of nowhere. Lily got up slowly, and under
the feet of a printed out.
When Anwar came home from work, no one was home. Looking for
Nilufar, he walked over to the kitchen to walk over the unsweetened
pans. He sipped a cup of tea from the untidy tablecloth on the table and
went to bed to change his clothes. He was embarrassed to see toys
scattered all over the room. There were footsteps outside, and then the
door opened.
"Where have you been?" Anwar said, looking at his wife.
Nilufar fell silently on the edge of the sofa. Anwar looked into his
wife's red eyes and sad face:
"Did you cry again?"
Between the palms of the lotus, the baby stared affectionately at the
pacifier.
"What is this?" Asked Anwar.
Nilufar smiles:
- A neighbor's wedding has come. I made up my mind, ”he said in a
low voice.
Anvar sighed and said nothing.
- When I didn't kill our child then, all of us ...
Anvar hugged his wife:
That's it. Everything will be fine.
-When? Tell me when? No, it's my fault. You too ...
Ten years ago, Nilufar was also pregnant. But he killed his child
without hesitation, saying he was still young. Anvar's brother forgave
him anyway. Only after some time did Nilufar meet the doctors,
dreaming of becoming a mother. Now that she knew she couldn't be a
mother, the world seemed dark to her. It was only when he stepped on
the threshold that he burst into tears. Everything around him seemed to
scold him. He came from a damp place that had not yet dried from the
rain, and without consciousness he could not understand anything. From
somewhere came the cry of a child, and then the cry of a woman, "My
child." Then Nilufar's eyes fell on the boy standing on the main road, on
the truck coming from a short distance away, and he longed for her.
In an instant, the street was crowded. Someone from the audience:
"Who is me," he said.
Someone:
"You're still young," he said sadly.
Who else:
"I need to tell my relatives," he whispered.
His lifeless body lay under the car's balloons as he squeezed the
pacifier tightly in his palm.
