Vladimir Lysenko(1903-1950)
According to available information from the State Museum of Arts and Archives, Lysenko lived in Tashkent since 1918 (possibly since 1919). In 1930, he took part in the first republican exhibition of fine arts of Uzbekistan, presenting a large number of paintings. In 1935, Lysenko was arrested. In the second half of the 1940s, he participated in exhibitions held in Novorossiysk and Krasnodar. In 1951, he returned to Tashkent and was rehabilitated in 1953.
