Famous Scientists Presentations!!
For this presentation, you must research the scientist that you were assigned and present your findings in the form of an oral presentation. Your presentation must last at least two minutes. You may use note cards, a Power Point presentation, or a poster to aid you in your report, but you may NOT put any information on paper. Your report should include the following information:

• 
  Biography of the scientist
  
  • 
    When was the scientist born? Where?
    
  • 
    What was his/her childhood like?
    
  • 
    Did he/she attend college? What did he/she study?
    
  • 
    Did he/she get married? Have children?
    
  • 
    Details of death.
    
  • 
    Any other pertinent information.
    
• 
  All important scientific contributions.
  
• 
  At least one interesting anecdote (story) about the scientist.
  

Your grade will be determined based on the following criteria:

• 
  Presenting skills --------------------------- 30 points
  
  • 
    This includes behavior, speaking voice, eye contact. The student must demonstrate that they know the content in their report without reading it off a screen or note card.
    
• 
  Report contains all required content ----- 50 points
  
• 
  Time of report ----------------------------- 20 points
  
• 
  Power point/Poster ------------------------ up to 10 points
  

You will be penalized 10 points for each day your report is late!!!!
