From Windows, bring the LNS DDE Server application into focus. Expand the tree in the folder
pane to select the OA Temp device Analog output value as shown in figure 15. Right-click the
Analog output and click the CopyLink command.

Bring the 
Analog Value Display
wizard back into focus and click on the 
Paste Link
button. This will result in fully specified Application, Topic, and Item portions of the link definition.
The wizard define a default tag name. This field requires modification because InTouch tag names
cannot support embedded spaces or period characters. Click the 
Allow Input 
option, and
change the name by removing the offending characters. If a suitable access name already exists,
the wizard will use this access name for the tag definition.
Using the procedure just described prevents the tedious error prone exercise of completely
specifying the item declarations resulting in a significant reduction in the time required to generate
the tag definitions.
