At the meeting, a representative of Uzbekistan Bakhtiyor Saifullayev stressed that thanks to the political will of the President of Uzbekistan, not only the atmosphere in Central Asia was completely renewed and good neighborly relations were restored, but also strong fraternal ties were established with the member states of the Organization of Turkic States, and its full-fledged activities were established.
The President of Turkey supported Saifullayev’s opinion and said that he plans to visit Tashkent at the end of March this year.
He expressed confidence that the summit of the Organization of Turkic States, which will be held in autumn in Uzbekistan, will be important to bring the activities of the Organization to a new level.
President instructs to reduce prepayment for UzAuto Motors cars

During today’s videoconference meeting, Shavkat Mirziyoyev instructed the head of Uzavtosanoat to reduce the prepayment for UzAuto Motors cars.

Presidential press secretary Sherzod Asadov said that the head of state instructed Shavkat Umurzakov, Board Chairman of the Uzavtosanoat company, to reduce the prepayment to 50% by May 1 this year.
Currently, buyers pay 85% of the cost of the car and wait for several months.
Previously, it was reported that the proposal to reduce the prepayment will be sent to the government for consideration.
Uzbekistan, Kazakhstan discuss resumption of passenger transportation by land transport

At the negotiations held under the leadership of the Deputy Minister of Transport of the Republic of Uzbekistan Abdusamat Muminov and the Deputy Minister of Industry and Infrastructure Development of the Republic of Kazakhstan Berik Kamaliyev, promising areas of cooperation, as well as issues related to improving the conditions for the transportation of goods, were discussed.

At the meeting, the parties confirmed the importance of easing epidemiological requirements and accelerating the process of resuming passenger transportation by land transport.
The working group also considered infrastructure projects in the field of road and rail transport: the high-speed railway Turkestan – Chimkent – Tashkent and the transport corridor Uchkuduk – Kyzylorda.
In addition, the issue of introducing new routes (airways) in servicing air traffic on the air territories of the Republic of Uzbekistan and the Republic of Kazakhstan was discussed.
The introduction of these new routes will achieve a significant reduction in aircraft flight times, which, in turn, will have a positive impact on the global environmental situation, fuel efficiency and attract additional users to the region.
Following the meeting, an appropriate protocol was signed on the agreements reached.
