STEP 1: Draw a table on the board. Ask the pupils to copy it into their copy books and complete for Uzbekistan schools.

Objectives: to develop listening skills; to enable pupils to talk about sport in the UK and USA schools
STEP 1: Ask the pupils to listen to the DVD. Ask them to listen to the girl from the UK and complete the table in 2a for the UK. Pause after the first slot. Ask the pupils to compare their notes in pairs.

STEP 2: Ask them to listen to the boy from the USA and complete the table for the USA. Ask the pupils to compare their notes in pairs. Check together.
