It’s clear to all of you that English-speaking countries are among the developed capitalist states in the world. Except Great Britain, the most developed English speaking countries are the United States of America, Canada and Australia. The United Kingdom of Great Britain is the name of the country which includes 4 large historical areas. They are England, Scotland, Wales and Northern Ireland. The United States of America is the name of the country which consists of 50 equal states and its people are known as Americans. The USA was also a colony of the United Kingdom of Great Britain. In 1776 the British colonial settlers declared their independence from England and established a new nation, the United States of America. Canada is situated in the Northern part of the continent of North America, Canada occupies a large territory and is rich in mineral resources. People of Canada also came from European countries with the hope of becoming rich. People of different nationalities live in Canada. About 45 percent of them are British origin and about 28 percent of French origin.
