The practical purpose of listening is to teach students to understand foreign speech by ear, which is presented at a normal pace by the teacher or in a sound recording. If you follow the correct methods of teaching listening, the teacher can develop the ability of his students to perceive a real (authentic) spoken foreign language by ear and give them faith in their abilities understand this language and communicate in it. Since the basis of listening is audio text, it can be concluded that listening training can not be carried out without the use of technical means. Technical means for teaching listening should be used not only when presenting an audio text, but also for performing various types of exercises. For the successful formation of listening skills, the number of presentations of an audio message, its volume and, accordingly, the duration of the sound are important. After all, natural listening involves single presentation of speech, which is related to the specifics of the conditions the flow of natural communication: in real communication, listening is carried out synchronously with speaking, and the speech message is not repeated. Psychological studies show that the primary school age is a sensitive period for the formation of moral and spiritual culture, because it is in this period that the foundations are laid for the assimilation of moral knowledge, beliefs and a number of other necessary prerequisites for the next moral development of a person. This is a period of radical restructuring of the entire system of the child’s relations with the outside world. This is a period when the way of life changes dramatically, children move to a new serious educational activity, they develop more fully the previously collected forms of behavior. Various moral experiences that arise in children a child in numerous life situations, moral problems and conflicts, interactions with peers and elders, create a kind of emotional perception of moral phenomena. As a result of systematic repetition, the emotional foundation of the moral being of the individual is laid. At the same time, the individual morality of a particular person is a reflection of the social and spiritual morality of society. Successful people are generally excellent listeners. They're able to give others their full attention so that they can understand their needs and ask the right questions, even in difficult or stressful situations. They can also use their listening skills effectively to communicate their own goals and to build strong relationships with others. Listening effectively keeps you informed, up to date, and out of trouble. This concise guide will help you hone your listening skills so you can increase your impact when you do speak, and have a negotiating edge, power, and influence. Listening is one of the key language skills for YLs’ language development. The YL listening classroom needs to relate listening tasks and materials to YLs’ experiences in real life and help develop strategies to decode messages effectively. In order to teach listening (not testing or practising) effectively, teachers should re-think what they do in the classroom and make choices: use authentic materials as input, design motivating tasks not comprehension questions, make use of textual and contextual resources, make listening purposeful and fun.
