Suggestions and Advice:
Students were hesitant to think of unique jobs until the homeroom teacher encouraged them to be
creative. Once they saw how easy it was to ask "How do you say ○○ in English?", many students
were eager to think of creative and funny jobs that were far more interesting to the class than the
traditional examples. Because of language barriers and classroom dynamics, the homeroom teacher
is essential in challenging the students to suggest unique jobs, as well as ensure them that they will
be praised for their creativity. This ensures that the lesson creates a fun, creative environment so
that the students will associate English class with a positive atmosphere.
