Abstract.
The article provides information
on the post-harvest processing of cereal and seeds of
leguminous crops, which takes an important place in ensuring the safety of the crop and
bringing it to marketable condition, as well as in the preparation of high-quality seed material.
The t
echnical solution and information presented
on the design and principle of operation of an
experimental model of an energy and resource-saving device for cleaning seeds of cereals and
leguminous crops from various impurities and weed seeds by separating them into fractions
using an air flow. An experimental sample of the device was made according to the developed
design documentation. Experimental studies on cleaning seeds of cereal and leguminous crops
from various impurities and seeds of weeds were carried out on an experimental model of the
device. Experimental studies have found that when cleaning wheat seeds, the cleaning efficiency
from various impurities and weed seeds, respectively, is 98.0 and 96.0%, and when cleaning
mung bean seeds, respectively, it is 100.0 and 98,0 %.

INTRODUCTION.
Cleaning grain and seeds of agricultural crops from impurities is the
most important method in processing grain and seeds, significantly affecting the stability of the
quality of their storage; improving the quality of consignments of grain and seeds of agricultural
crops transferred for processing; increasing the efficiency and productivity of technological
