VIEW TO THE RECENT FUTURE OF METROLOGICAL SUPPLY OF MEASURING
INSTRUMENTS. SELECTION OF MEASURING TOOLS

Abstract.
The following article analyzes the data on metrological supply of measuring
instruments, future developments, selection of measuring instruments for manufacturing
enterprises and scientific laboratories. The function of metrological supply and ways of its
development are considered. The main objective of the metrological supply is to achieve the
required accuracy through its proper management by using the measurement method,
measuring device, measurement process and analysis of the measurement results and ensure
that the results are positive. The issues will appear in case the incorrect analysis of the
measurement method, measuring device, measurement process and the results in metrological
supply. If each of the metrologists in the laboratories fails to effectively solve the planned tasks
of the purchased device, negative consequences will occur with the purchase of measuring
equipment. Indeed, the resulting measuring tool may not be fully compatible with the required
functions. This also gives a great responsibility to the professionals in the following sphere.
The necessary recommendations were developed by analyzing to what pay attention to while
purchasing measuring instruments and equipment for manufacturing enterprises and scientific
laboratories. Furthermore, the capabilities of equipment and measuring tools were analyzed
based on the features of intelligent sensors in the selection of measuring instruments in the
current period of production. It was noted that most of the measuring instruments
manufactured currently have the capabilities of self-monitoring and automatic correction of
defects.
