POLITICAL SYSTEM IN THE EPOS OF "THE BOOK OF DADA GORGUD"
Summary
The epos of "The Book of Dada Gorgud", considered as a monument of times when oguz Turks were the strongest in the world, is studied, investigated 200 years by researchers, and in its each story the new thoughts, new reasons are told. In the epos Turks establishing a perfect state, working exactly as a clockwork are not out of sight. As in the state of oguz preferred military science, in the epos scenes of war, a fight scene are most of all described. Therefore, the epos are belonging to a number of heroic epic series. But it is necessary to notice that life of our ancestors passed in fights, battles, that is courage, the heroism was image of their life. Therefore the first epos created by the Turks, has reflected its heroism.
Turks owned the greatest empires on the earth. Open spaces of the countries won by them were boundless. The Oguz Turks who have created "The Book of Dada Gorgud", have constructed the state in huge territory, thanks to strong army and clever statesmen, have kept it during thousand years. In Oguzname we see that Gorgud-Ata as one of the main persons of the Oguzstate, has authority before the head of the state. Medieval historian F.Rashidaddin in the work of "Oguzname" describes merits of Gorgud in the Oguz state.
In the stories given in "The Book of Dada Gorgud", we see development of tax, monetary, state, financial questions, commercial relations, a ware exchange, development of those or other economic relations. At the same time, in the epos everywhere have found reflection such questions as carrying out in divankhane advisory, consultative affairs, carrying out of measures on punishment, statehood principles, wedding, wedding and funeral ceremonies, etc. And the verses told by Gorgud with the help gopuz, are songs ancient Turk traditions which ashugs execute during modern time.
