ELEGY IN THE PARTS OF THE EPOS “DEDE GORGUD” AND SOME EXAMPLES FROM ALIKE KHOJALI ELEGIES
Summary
Elegy is one of the important cultural elements protected its place in the oral and writing tradition coming from the past to nowadays and the elegy and telling the elegy tradition which have the most fundamental past in Turkish culture. Elegies have immortalized its existence from the ancient periods to nowadays and have taken important place among the common values of the humanity. In the book Dede Gorgud the ancient Oghuzs mourning ceremonies and telling elegy traditions have taken place which is considered one of the culture creatures showing the ancient tradition, custom and life style of Turkish nation.
