Where have I found it ? In the National Library named after Navai.

How I found it: I asked my teacher to help me and she said to go to the National Library .

Shart note: The book has a section about portfolio. Portfolio is a compilation of student or teacher work assembled for the purpose of documenting experience.I is an achieve of academic work pruducts . Which is often used to eraheate professional learning and academic achievments. They also be digital collections or presentations which include the same documents achievments as physical portfolios, but that may also include additional content just like student-created vedeas multimedia, websites, photographs. Portfolios are also used to help students reflect on their own work. By closely monitoring learning time using portfolios both teachers and students can highlight academic strength and recognize accomplishments and growth.

Shortnote:This book has a lot of information about portfolios. A portfolio is a collection of student work. Which olemons trates the students abilities, efforts and growth in an area or areas. A portfolio can represent the student’s ow selections of work, the teacher’s selections or both of them. It should be contain a statement of the student’s gals and progress to ward achiering these gols. A portfolio can be changed and adapted as a student moves through a course or semester so as to.Two common types of portfolios are artistic portfolios and writing portfolios. In an artistic portfolio there should be works of person who is being described in portfolio. A writer’s portfolio consists of a selection of short stories, poems, essoys or critical pieces of work that show writer’s range and strength.

When we use portfolios to assess and ins-truct students , we should remember that students should take primary responsibility for their portfolin. One of the advantages of portfolios is that they engender pride in the students who have developed them. Seeing the growth of someone’s collection provides a feeling of accomplishment that is often last use of portfolios as assessments is most effective if these portfolios are classroom based rather than being assembled solely for large-scale testing.

Short note: In this book has less informations than others. It said that portfolios are purposeful collection of student work not just folders of all the work does. Portfolios are used for a variety of purposes and developing a portfolio system can be confusing and stressfull unless the teacher are clear on their purpose. When the prinary purpose is assessment for learning , the empnasis is on student silf-reflection and responsibility for learning.

Short note; The term portfolio has become a popular buzz word. But it is not always clear exactly. What is meant or implied. By this term especially when used in the contest of portfolio assessment. This training modlele is intended to clarify the notion of portfolio assessment and help users design.

Portfolios are useful as a support to the new instructional approoche that emphasire the students role in constructing, understanding and also teacher’s role in promoting. The content in portfolios has constructed from a class assignments and corresponds to the local classroom, curriculum, often portfolio programms are initiated by teachers.

Who know their classroom curriculum best. They will develop portfolios focused on one curricular area-such as writing, mathematics or they will develop portfolio programms that span two or more subjects.

I chose one of them.

Short note: The learner’s portfolio is a central element of language and literature and is mandatory for all students. This is individual collection of students work done throughout the years of the course. It is a place for students to explore and reflect upon literary and nonliterary texts, and establish connections among them and with the areas of exploration and the central concepts in the subject. In the learner’s portfolio students will be expected to reflect on their responses to the works being studied in the corresponding area of exploration. The learner’s portfolio must consists of a diversity of formal and informal responses to different texts which may come in a range of critical or creative forms , and in different media. It is the student’s own record of discovery and development throughout the course.
