Description:  

The  federal  portal 

oesterreich.gv.at 

provides  information  on  moving 

and  change  of  address  notification,  as  well  as  related  forms  to 

download.  Registration  and  re-registration  can  be  conducted  fully 

electronically through the portal or app. 

Certificates (birth, marriage): request and delivery

Description:  

When  a  person  registers  with  the  Central  Register  of  Residents 

(Zentrales  Melderegister),  the  competent  authority  verifies  the 

accuracy  of  the  existing  personal  and  nationality  data  and  informs 

accordingly the Central Register of Residents.
