Now and again I pamper myself with a visit to a day spa. In my city there's a large SPA centre which provides a number of facilities such as a sauna, jacuzzi, relaxation room, infrared sauna, swimming pool, steam room, salt room, to name but a few. Also, it offers a variety of SPA treatments. And it's considered to be a really cool and luxurious place. This is the place where you can get whatever you want and you understand that you just couldn't ask for more.
Whenever my friends and I have a special occasion, usually not more than twice or three times a year, or when I feel that I'm stressed and exhausted, which happens to me from time to time, I go to this spa centre and spend the whole day there.
For me, this is the best way to restore my energy as during the day I do nothing but relax. This is the place where I'm always well taken care of and I'm treated like a princess. I sometimes envy those people who have an opportunity to go there regularly, when they want, but not just on a special occasion. I'm not rolling in the dough, therefore I cannot afford it as often as I want. But if money was not a limiting factor, believe me, I would go there every weekend. By the way, this stimulates me to work harder, earn more to have a better life When I'm there, I like relaxing in a steam room, a sauna with a dry herbal steam, jacuzzi. I swim in a pool, take a cold shower, drink herbal tea. But my all time favourite is a Japanese bath. There are 2 hot tubs with the temperature of 45 and 40 degrees Celsius, and a swimming pool with water temperature of 6 to 8 degrees Celsius. First, I sit in the first hot tub for 3 minutes or so. Then I sit in the second one. And after the hot baths I plunge into cold water. Then I go back to the hot tub. And repeat it several times. After that I feel like I'm born again,
There're so many ways to relax there that I can spend hours talking about this place. I usually notice a huge difference in the way I feel before and after the visit, probably, because of a serene atmosphere which makes me calm and relaxed.
