The aim of the lesson: 

Educational: - to consolidate the learnt material from the previous lessons; - to learn about fairy tales 

Developing: - to enable pupils to talk about cartoons and fairy tales 

Socio-cultural: - to raise awareness of cartoons and fairy tales. 

Competence: SC3, SC and LC in teamwork. 

Learning outcomes: At the end of the lesson the pupils will be able to speak about the cartoons. 

Type of the lesson: non-standard, mixed 

Method of the lesson: group work, pair work 

Equipment: 

Pupil‘s book, Workbook, the DVD, flipchart, colour pencils, crayons 

 

  The Procedure of the lesson: 

I. Organizing moment: - Greeting. 

- Checking the register 

- Checking homework and asking words from previous lesson 

 

II. Pre-Activity  

Activity 1 Watch the cartoon. 10 min 

Objectives: to warm up; 

to consolidate the learnt material. 

Play DVD. The pupils watch the cartoon about ―The old man and his sons‖ .
