Was ist der richtige unbestimmte Artikel zu Preis?

Wenn du der Preis sagst, heißt das, dass dein Gesprächspartner wissen sollte, worüber genau du sprichst. Willst du weniger konkret über etwas sprechen, benutzt du stattdessen die unbestimmten Artikel ein und eine. Es gibt nur diese beiden Formen: eine für feminine Nomen und ein für maskuline und neutrale Wörter. Preis ist maskulin, die korrekte Form ist also: ein Preis.

Preis im Plural

Der Plural von Preis ist die Preise. Beim Plural musst du das Genus eines Wortes nicht kennen, um den richtigen Artikel zu finden. Der bestimmte Artikel in der Grundform ist immer die, egal ob das Substantiv maskulin, feminin oder neutral ist. Die unbestimmte Form ist auch einfach: Hier gibt es keinen Artikel. Du würdest also zum Beispiel einfach viele Preise sagen. Nicht ganz so einfach wie der Artikel ist leider die Pluralform eines Substantivs. Bei der Bildung des Plurals gibt es einige Ausnahmen. Deswegen hilft es – genau wie beim Genus – die Pluralform von Vokabeln auswendig zu lernen.
