4.  Section 77p shall apply mutatis mutandis. 
Section 77wd 
1.  If the conduct of the convicted offender gives cause to do so and extension is in the interest of the 
convicted offender’s development, the court may, on application of the Public Prosecution Service, 
extend the term of the measure one time by up to a maximum of the same period for which the 
measure was imposed. The Public Prosecution Service may submit an application for extension of 
the measure no earlier than two months and no later than one month before the date on which the 
measure expires by lapse of time.  
2.  An application as referred to in subsection (1), which is submitted later than one month before the 
date on which the measure expires by lapse of time, but within a reasonable period of time, shall 
be nevertheless admissible, if there are special circumstances which require extension of the 
measure in the interest of the juvenile’s future development.
