Section 221 
1.  Any person who removes a rejection mark placed on objects that are subject to assessment of 
conformity with the requirements for measuring instruments, with the intention that he or others 
shall use these objects as if they had not been rejected, shall be liable to a term of imprisonment 
not exceeding one year or a fine of the fourth category. 
2.  Any person who intentionally uses, sells, offers for sale, delivers or has in store for the purpose of 
sale such objects from which the rejection mark has been removed as if they had not been rejected 
shall be liable to the same punishment.
