Section 207a 1. Any person who, in cases where a statement under oath or an affirmation or a promise as a
substitute for such oath is required by or pursuant to a treaty to which the Kingdom is a contracting
party, intentionally makes a false statement in such form before an international court, either
verbally or in writing, either in person or through a person specially authorised for that purpose,
shall be liable to a term of imprisonment not exceeding six years or a fine of the fourth category.
