Introduction 
Air transport – a type of transport that carries passengers, mail and cargo by air. Its 
advantage is that it saves a lot of time due to the high flight speed, and allows to establish 
direct transport links to non-land and waterways. Over the past period, consistent 
measures have been taken to develop the country’s civil aviation, including the renewal 
of the aircraft fleet, ensuring a high level of flight safety, improving the airport 
infrastructure, air traffic control and training of qualified personnel. At the same time, a 
number of systemic shortcomings remain in the civil aviation of our country, which hinder 
the further implementation of structural reforms to ensure its competitiveness in the global 
aviation market and to actively attract investment in this sector.
 
In accordance with the Decree of the President of the Republic of Uzbekistan PF-5584
“On measures to radically improve the civil aviation of the Republic of Uzbekistan” work 
was done.
 
In particular, Uzbekistan Airways was established on the basis of the State Unitary
Enterprise “Uzbekistan Airways”, as well as the state unitary enterprises “Pilots 
Complex”, “General Agency for Air Communications” and “Uzaviatexta’minot Logistics 
Complex”.
After the independence of the Republic of Uzbekistan, in accordance with the decree of 
the President of the Republic of Uzbekistan, on January 28, 1992

, the National Airline
“Uzbekistan Airways” was established on the basis of the Civil Aviation Department of 
Uzbekistan under the former Ministry of Civil Aviation.
In 2017, The president of Republic of Uzbekistan decided to rename Tashkent 
International Airport after Islam Karimov.

Air transport is one of the leading sectors of the Uzbek economy, serving to develop the 
country’s international, economic, diplomatic and cultural ties with the outside world. 
There are modern airports in Tashkent, Nukus, Samarkand, Bukhara, Urgench, Termez,
Karshi, Namangan, Andijan, Fergana and Navoi. Tashkent Airport is the largest 
international airport in Central Asia. Bukhara, Samarkand and Urgench airports also have 
the status of international airports. “Uzbekistan Havo Yoʻllari “ (Uzbekistan Airlines) 
operates 20 international flights on a regular basis. It has 44 offices in Europe, America, 
Southeast Asia and the CIS. During the years of independence, with the support of the 
Government of the Republic of Uzbekistan, 1 billion soums have been allocated for the 
aviation sector.
The object of the course work is a set of interactions between airlines and travel agencies.
The system of socio-economic relations related to the development of advanced training 
of cards at airports as the subject of the course work.
The course work includes an introduction, two chapters, two tables, five contents of the 
plan, a conclusion and references.
The first chapter deals with the history of airlines and airports. Differences, advantages 
and disadvantages of air transport from other means of transport. It also discusses the 
world’s largest companies and their contribution to the world economy.
The second chapter deals with the role of air transport and airports in tourism. Their 
convenience for tourists. There is also talk of cooperation between airlines and travel 
agencies.
In conclusion, it was noted that airlines are very important not only for our economy but 
also for the world economy. There were also a number of airline offers.
