Abstract
. The expert systems are complicated complex programs included the experts’ knowledge in the specific subject 
area and help users (having low experience) for decision making. Therefore, sometime these systems are called the decision making 
support systems. The “Expert system” term was offered and introduced in 1977 by E.Feygenbaum. It has next essence: in artificial 
intelligence area, its principles and means involvement for solution of the difficult practical tasks demanding expert knowledge. In 
result, there has been started the period of expert system formation for solution tasks of diagnostics, identification, management, 
forecast, planning, etc. In given paper the application of artificial intelligence, intelligence and expert systems has been considered in 
modern information system. On the basis of present systems the stages of reconnaissance expert system formation, the reconnaissance 
information basis construction, the reconnaissance data processing a33nd the method of the development of arrive at a conclusion have 
been determined. For the purpose of effectiveness improvement of reconnaissance data gathering and processing the expert system 
application has been offered.
