Summary: 
In the article, the technology of making brake molds of special purpose armored vehicles from polymer-based 
composite materials is studied. For this purpose, the existing technical literature in this field has been studied and the requirements for 
brake materials have been thoroughly analyzed. Based on the general results obtained, the optimal composition of the polymer-based 
composite material used in the manufacture of brakes for armored vehicles, pressing pressures, cooking and heat treatment modes were 
determined.
