Conclusion 
Although infrared thermometers play an important role in measurement techniques, there are certain drawbacks 
and shortcomings in its use and application. The problems we encounter when using infrared thermometers and ways to 
solve them are listed below.
 
One of the problems is that if you try to measure any specific target in the correct way, but you are not sure you 
get an exact temperature. Remember that such thermometers measure only the average surface temperature. To get a 
higher temperature than you can measure with an IR thermometer, you need to get closer to the temperature source. How 
can you be sure that you only set the temperature of the target point without a visual image? You can be sure that you are 
measuring the target point through the environmental impact parameters. Don't worry about the point ratio from a distance 
anymore. 
Another problem is that it may not be possible to determine any "hot" or "cold" points with an infrared 
thermometer. When performing numerous measurements with an IR thermometer, it is not possible to quickly detect 
temperature anomalies. It is difficult to record measurements as hot and cold points. With the hot and cold point concepts 
we mentioned, you can instantly see the hot and cold points on the thermal heating map. Hot and cold dot marks simplify 
the tasks at hand to help you identify the source of the problem.
