Introduction 
Information is one of the most valuable assets of most modern companies. With the value of information 
increase, the number of those who wish to obtain this information also increases, for use in their own or the interests of 
third parties. One way of information obtain is to capture information using illegal means of obtaining information.
Detection of which is very problematic, because in today's high-tech world to localize the signals of illegal means of 
obtaining information is very difficult Based on the above solution to the problem of localization of digital radio errors 
of various kinds and principles of operation, it is very important, and the development of a model of error is relevant. The 
purpose of this work is to develop a mathematical model of the characteristics of the accuracy of localization of signals 
of illegal receipt of the information on the basis of a long-term method. To achieve this goal it is necessary to perform the 
next part of the research task, to develop a model of localization of means of illegal obtaining of information, which will 
be based on the topology and structure of direction-finding on the basis of the long-range method.
