What is a Service Level Agreement (SLA)?
SLA (Service Level Agreement) is a contract that governs the relationship between a service provider and its client. The SLA contains a description of the services (the main subject of the SLA), as well as many important subsections: the purpose of cooperation, its duration, the schedule for the provision of services, payment terms, termination conditions, guarantees, compensation amounts. SLA is the main and only instrument for regulating issues in the field of IT service delivery.
