• The users can ask for data and specify how they are to be charted.
• Some graphics software can perform arithmetic or logical operations on data as well.
• Examples of two graphics languages are SAS, SYSTAT, and Harvard Graphics.
• Application Generators
• Software that can generate entire information system applications.
• The users needs only to specify what needs to be done, and the application generator creates the appropriate program code.
• Examples: Focus, Natural, and ProGenPlus.
