2012: Share the Pride…….
Dear Sir or Madam:
Welcome to the 2012 Coconut Creek Football & Cheerleading Program! This will mark our16th season of providing what we consider the best youth football program in South Florida. We are proud to announce another successful season in 2011. Over the past fourteen years, our football and cheerleading program has tripled in size, to over 900 local children, ages 5-14. In addition, we are fortunate to have a stellar group of coaches, volunteers, and sponsors, to whom we owe our tremendous success. We are now beginning our ninth year of Tackle Football and Cheerleading in Coconut Creek, in association with the American Youth Football League (AYFL), and it has been a tremendous success.
As with any recreational program, there are significant operating costs, most notably equipment and uniforms. The City of Coconut Creek’s Park & Recreation Department has provided a spectacular facility with bleachers, scoreboards, and goalposts. Although the City sanctions our program, we are an independent, non-profit organization, and do not receive City funding.
Therefore, it is necessary for us to rely on the assistance of corporate sponsors and private donors. Our annual budget is in excess of $90,000.00 for both our tackle players and cheerleaders. Due to the fact that registration fees alone will not cover it, our anticipated budget shortfall is substantial. One of the reasons that we have been so successful is due to the generosity of the local businesses. Without the past support of these businesses it would have been very difficult to have started this program, much less make it the premier program we believe it to be. To maintain this momentum in our program we will continue to strive to bring the very best to the children of our community with the help of our sponsors and supporters.
Attached is a list of sponsorship opportunities, please take a moment to review and evaluate which option best fits your company’s desired level of involvement. Although our practice for the 2011season does not begin until July, it is imperative to begin our fundraising now, as there are immediate expenses that must be met in order for us to proceed. Any and all sponsorships or donations are welcomed and appreciated! Please make checks payable to “Coconut Creek Football Program”.
