What does Teamwork mean to me? 

By definition, teamwork refers to collaboration of works that put together to achieve one common 

goal. Normally to be called as teamwork, there must be more than two persons working together. 

Result of works are differentiated by members’ number, willingness, and communication. These 

three important traits are the common criteria to make teamwork successful and harmony.  Firstly, 

number of members can change the outcome of work if it too many or less people partake in the 

group. For example, specifically LS major assignment 2, there were too many individuals assigned 

to do the task, which leaded to have inequality of work division. Secondly, most importantly is the 

willingness or effort that each member put into the work. There will always be difficult tasks to 

do in life, so people must find ways to mitigate such things by trying their best and be humble to 

do the work rather than finding excuses to hinder self-ability. For instance, LS major assignment, 

all members should collaborate together to finest the work, so each member need to put their effort 

in working and humbly show the progress of work. Lastly, communication with team members. 

In every effective teamwork, there is always one individual being a leader to guide the subordinates 

to reach a certain goal. By doing that, communication is very crucial. Leader must be clear with 

instruction and subordinates should listen dearly. For example, LS major assignment 2, Vissotsak 

is nominated to be a leader for group 2, so the leader’s word should be followed and subordinates 

can also give suggestions. However, some members are staying silent when are asked to speak. 

Therefore, it led to have miscommunication and bad result of work. To sum up, effective teamwork 

needs to have fair number of people, willingness of all members, and good communication.
