City of Grant Planning Commission Minutes

December 1, 2009

The regular meeting of the Grant City Planning Commission was held on Tuesday, December 1, 2009, at the City of Grant Municipal Offices.

1. Call to Order: Harry Robinson called the meeting to order at 5:35pm.
2. Pledge of Allegiance to the Flag.
3. Roll Call

PRESENT: Debra Wilson, Harold Portell, Patrick Gardner, Harry Robinson, Terry Fett, and Sherry Powell

EXCUSED: Dan Graham
ABSENT: Roscoe Ostyn
OTHERS PRESENT: City Manager Doug LaFave
4. Public Comments:

None
5. Consent Agenda:

a. Approval of the minutes from the November 10, Planning Commission meeting.

b. Literature

c. Routine Site Plans/Administrative Approval:

1. 200 Exchange St: Request by Jesse Platt, owner; Fence for back yard

Motion: Motion made by Fett, second by Gardner to approve the Consent Agenda.

Motion passes unanimously.

6. Unfinished Business:

a. City of Grant Zoning Code: Doug asked for any comments beyond a few grammatical items.

Motion: Motion made by Fett, second by Portell to recommend approval by the City Commission.

Motion passes unanimously.

7. New Business:

None
8. Information Items / Updates:

a. Discussion of Streetscape: Most of the project is wrapped up, with only the light poles installation remaining. The manufacturer has delayed the delivery of lights.

10. Adjournment: Motion by Gardner, second by Wilson to adjourn the meeting at 5:50pm.
