The coil loop thermosyphon is similar to the coil loop system but
without a pump. The system may be bidirectional or unidirec-
tional, as shown in Fig. 10.34. Individual loops have fairly low
efficiencies—25 percent is typical. Loops may be installed in series to
achieve higher recovery rates.
