Chapter 2 Teaching dialogic English speech at the middle stage in general educational institutions of the Republic
2.1. The state of learning to speak dialogical speech of the English language at the middle stage in general educational institutions of the Republic.
In order to study the state of learning to speak dialogic speech of the English language at the middle stage in general educational institutions of the Republic, we conducted a diagnostic study in MBOU secondary school. This school has a large number of students, so there are 5 English teachers in the school. In general, the attitude towards English at school is quite serious and professional. The school is equipped with modern computer classes that can also be used for teaching English (watching movies, listening to texts, drafting projects, making presentations, etc.).
To conduct this experiment, we chose one subgroup of the 5th "a" class of the English teacher Saida Kabulova . The size of the subgroup is 15 people, of which three study "excellent", seven study "good" and five "satisfactory". There are eight boys and seven girls in the subgroup. The level of the subgroup in terms of academic performance is medium, since most students study “good”.
The class is cohesive, but not very disciplined. Students do not like to engage in one type of activity for a long time, they are very fond of conversations, creative tasks and exciting activities.
We had to find out at what level the formation of dialogic skills in students of the 5th "a" class is.
To identify the level of formation of dialogic speech skills among students, the following research methods were used: conversation and observation.
The goal is to identify the level of formation of dialogic skills of middle-level students in English lessons in general educational institutions of the Republic.

  1. Conversation with teacher Saida Kabulovna on the topic "Teaching speaking dialogic speech"

Purpose: to find out how the teacher relates to teaching dialogic speech in English lessons.
The conversation was held with an English teacher S.K. The teacher was asked to answer four questions (see Appendix No. 1).
