he pace of work has been increasing rapidly
in recent years. And the Covid-19 pandemic
has further accelerated the use of communi-
cation and connectivity tools — such as MS
Teams, Workplace or Slack — as well as the use of auto-
mation and artificial intelligence.
Employees have also had to develop greater levels of
flexibility. In 2016, the World Economic Forum (WEF)
published its
“The Future of Jobs” report. It listed some
of the more general skills that people would need to suc-
ceed in 2020. These skills consisted mainly of two types:

intelligence, critical thinking and cognitive
