British culture contest

BRITISH CULTURE CONTEST


On May 26, 2022, at the initiative of Tadjiyeva Mastura, who is a teacher of the Department of Teaching English Methodolgy in the Faculty of Foreign Philology of Termez State University. The competition called "British culture contest" was held among the students of the 3rd stage of the faculty. The purpose of the competition was to test the knowledge of the students related to their country.


The event was opened by Sh. Jabbarova, a senior teacher at the Department of Teaching English Methodolgy and Paige Dabney, the guest from the United States. Contest was occured among the students in groups 306, 307, 308, 309 and 310, who competed against each other on 4 conditions. Condition 1 was an introduction, in which the teams introduced their group. The 2^nd condition involved performances connected to British culture .And in the 3^rd one , the member of the groups answered the questions about Great Britain. And in the last one,the members of the teams carried out the tasks such as finding and placing the pictures in the map.


At the end of the competition, the participants were presented with scenes typical of British culture, fluency in English and was rewarded with books.
