Features of the biomorphological structure of the adventive fraction of pine forests of flora
at the southern limit of the range of 
Pinus sylvestris

When analyzing the adventive fraction of pine forests of flora at the southern limit of Pinus sylvestris 
L. development, monocarpic grasses predominated, among which ephemerophytes and epekophytes predom-
inate. There are fewer trees and shrubs, but a considerable proportion of them are agriophytes. A large num-
ber of tree and shrub species in burs is associated with works on introduction, actively carried out at the be-
ginning of the last century with the purpose of selecting the accompanying rocks for the best growth and de-
velopment of Pinus sylvestris cultures. The climatic conditions that are more favorable in the Usmankiy and 
Khrenovskiy pine forests are more favorable for adaptation and the degree of naturalization of the introduced 
species than in Buzulukskiy and Krasnosamarsky. Of the polycarpic grasses, half are vegetative–mobile, a 
significant proportion among them belongs to the epekophytes. We consider it important, when characteriz-
ing the spectrum of the life forms of the adventive fraction of flora, not only to identify the prevailing group, 
but also the degree of naturalization. Special attention should be given to perennial plants, among which 
most of the agriophytes. Preserving overground and/or underground vegetative organs throughout life, they 
play an important role in the structure of biological communities, participating not only in the cycle of sub-
stances and energy, but also in the formation of ecological conditions. Also, an important point, when con-
sidering the adventive fraction of the flora is the identification of the vegetative–moving of its representa-
tives, which is one of the indicators of the life strategy of the eksplerenty.
