In 2013–2018 we performed a large molecular and morphological revision of the species of section 
Daghestanica
and its position in phylogenetic system of the genus 
Allium
. We collected 72 samples of four 
species, some of which (43) are cultivated in the collection of Mountain Botanical Garden.
Study of cpDNA and ITS fragments had shown that Caucasian species of section 
Daghestanica
a not 
monophyletic and most of the described species of N. Tscholokaschvili (1965) have clear genetic differ-
ences. 
Allium mirzajevii
and 
A. samurense
are related to species of section 
Oreiprason
sensu str. (Seregin, 
Friesen, 2015), and only
 A. gunibicum,
A. daghestanicum,
A. charadzeae
and 
A. otschiauriae
Tscholok. be-
long to the section 
Daghestanica
. 
A. chevsuricum
build sister clade to the section 
Daghestanica
. The most 
unusual position was shown for 
A. albovianum
- it stands next to the section of 
Reticulatobulbosa
.

В статье приводится краткая история изучения рода овсяница на территории Дагестана. При-
водятся новые местонахождения видов этого рода во флоре республики во время инвентаризации се-
мейства 
Poaceae
в последние годы. Указано выявление новых, ранее не указанных для территории
