importance of communicating with the management is important so quite often
the managers have to rely on the animators to solve certain situations and vice
versa. 80% of animators said that the communication with management is very
important, and it is on second place of ranked communications.
Each arrival of new guests is difficult for the reception desk. With their
presence, the animators (adequately dressed) can
help the reception desk to
clear the crowd. On the other hand, it is quite often a case that the animation
team is in the need of help from the reception desk (copying various materials,
asking the whereabouts of some clients in order
to inform them about some
activities etc.). 40% of animators said that communication is good for the
overall atmosphere and 42,7% said that the communication with the
management is very important.
Communication with the sanitary personnel is necessary especially if the
problem is beyond our powers and that is when this staff acts and expressively
deals with it. Still, this form of communication
is on the last place of the
communication chart, but it should be noted that 33,3% of animators said that
this communication is excellent and important.
Communication with the kitchen staff holds a special place. It is based on a
mutual trust. They give the animators the necessary
ingredients for certain
activities (potato, spaghetti, watermelon – for aperitif games), and on the other
hand, the kitchen is always in the need of an advertisement from the team of
animators when the quality of the food in the hotel is considered. This kind of
communication is on 6th place in the chart, and even 32% of animators believe
that the communication with the kitchen personnel is important.
Mostly all areas where the animation is done is near the bars. The results show
that the communication with the bar personnel is very important. 34,7% of
animators said that this communication is good for atmosphere and
management team and 53,3% said that the communication with bar staff is very
important. It is on 3rd place of the communication chart.
Communication with the restaurant personnel is represented
in a similar way
and it is on 4th place.
The animators ranked the communication with the clients as the most important
way of communication (chart 11). Over 90% of surveyors consider it to be very
important which confirms previously set up theories that the communication is
the basis for this job (chart 10).
