English language has been exerting a tremendous influenceon all walks of modern man’s life
and playing an unsurpassed role in various spheres of our life.These comprisetravel,tourism and

international communication, because nowadays 380 million
people are speaking it as their first language and over 200 million people have taken it as their sec

ond language.Another billion of people are in the process of learning. Moreover, it is used in various
sectors; for example, commerce, technology,
and politics, and diplomacy, tourism.
The globalization of English language may help in different accepts: for example as an in-
strument for economic success,a tool for cross-cultural communication and for the development
of tourism. Besides,therise of English as a global language and its development in the field
of tourism is a positive influence on the development of cultures as it brings people together
to share their ideas and cultures as well. English breaks the communication barriers between
people from diverse cultural background and it creates a new
community where people come
together and share their cultures and ideas with broader audience.Culturaltourism is one of the
largest and fastest-growing global tourism markets.Organization estimates that cultural tour-
ism accounts for 40 percentages of international tourism.It may contribute significantly to
the understanding of other people of foreign country and their pasts. Cultural tourism has
assumed a vital role in the development of destinations around the world.For instance,if
tourists travel from place to place or embark on a tour,they come
across people of different
linguistic backgrounds and naturallythey want to know information about the country and its
history and they want to talk to the local people of the place.Thus, they need a common language
for communicating,which language is English,because,as mentioned above,English language is
first language of some countries and the second language of some countries.It is English that it
most extensively is used in the world.. Travelers say thattrips are memorable when theylearn
about new more interesting information about the country.It well - known among people
interested in the cultural and historical value of the area. This
is why they extend their
journey again to learn more. Thus, cultural tourism is importantforvarious reasons; ithas a
positive economic and social impact, it establishes and reinforces identity, it helps build image,
it helps preserve the cultural and historical heritage, withculture asaninstrument

harmonyand understandingamong people, it supports culture and helps renew tourism. The

and supporting businesses. There is an increase in local production since the cultural tourism

ployment demanding, there is an increase in employment in the area, as guests participate and
appreciate local culture. This helps
