Yes, definitely！It's extremely important to maintain historical buildings because they symbolize
our cultural heritage. They represent past dynasties and our historical identity. I think the
government understood this a few years ago, but a little too late. In my city, many old
neighborhoods were torn down in the 1990s and were replaced by modern high-rises．I suppose it
was necessary to accommodate the millions of people who moved to the city, but I feel it's still a
shame to have lost these monuments.
