4. How interested are people in the history of where they live?
I believe that people are very interested and proud of their local history. People always feel
attached to their hometown and their roots. People enjoy promoting their local area, and if the
region played an important role in history, people will happily remind you of this.In my city, I
think people are only recently beginning to feel more fascinated by the past. In the last 30 years,
people were more concerned about the future, and the development of theurban area. This is why
they kind of forgot to protect old buildings and old neighborhoods． But as you say in English:
"Better late than never."
