Development of a Tornado GR4 Simulator through the Entire Engineering Lifecycle In 2008 XXXX won a contract to build 4 Tornado GR4 simulators. These targeted fidelity, fixed base simulators were to be delivered to WWWW and were designed to be mission training simulators that are used as part of a larger simulated training environment. I was part of the team who won the bid for the work and therefore became a core part of the delivery team. Initially the project was split into 3 work packaGES – Avionics, Simulation Environment and Aircraft Systems, and Hardware.
