HISTORY OF THE DEPARTMENT
THE DEPARTMENT WAS OPENED WITHIN THE INSTITUTE NAMED "AUTOMATIC ECONOMIC INFORMATION PROCESSING SYSTEM" (IAQIAS) FROM AUGUST 1, 1991 AND STARTED TO BE OPERATED. SINCE 1991, THE DEPARTMENT WAS HEADED BY THE DOCTOR OF TECHNICAL SCIENCES, PROFESSOR ANVAR VASILEVICH QABULOV.
THE DEPARTMENT OF ELECTRONIC COMMERCE AND DIGITAL ECONOMY WAS ESTABLISHED WITHIN THE FACULTY OF "BUDGET ACCOUNTING AND TREASURY" ON THE BASIS OF DECISION 11/11.3 OF THE COUNCIL OF THE TASHKENT FINANCIAL INSTITUTE OF JULY 6, 2019 - "ON AMENDMENTS TO THE ORGANIZATIONAL STRUCTURE OF THE INSTITUTE".
