The Austrian Research and Technology Report is 
the status report on the country’s federally funded 
research, technology, and innovation. It is commis-
sioned by the Federal Ministry of Education, Sci-
ence and Research (BMBWF), the Federal Ministry 
for Climate Action, Environment, Energy, Mobility, 
Innovation and Technology (BMK), and the Federal 
Ministry for Digital and Economic Affairs (BMDW). 
The Austrian Research and Technology Report
